Crowd-Sourced L&D SWOT Analysis
Dear L&D Colleague- In an effort to advance the Learning and Development (L&D) field, Smarter People Planning is conducting a crowd-sourced L&D SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis. The purpose of the L&D SWOT analysis is to gain diverse insights into L&D during an incredibly disruptive time. A summary report will be published on LinkedIn to enable stronger L&D planning, decision-making, and benchmarking. We are defining L&D as anyone responsible for any aspect of workforce development, talent management, an L&D vendor/partner, or an independent consultant. Please click here to participate in the crowd-sourced L&D SWOT analysis which should take about 10 minutes to complete. The survey will close 12 June 2020. Feel free to forward this email to any L&D colleagues within or outside of your organization. As a thank you for participating, we will email you a copy of a detailed final report that will not be offered publicly. Self-care in the workplace training
Hi everyone! Before the COVID-19 pandemic, I was leading self-care in the workplace trainings for corporate wellness - things like creating morning and evening routines, bringing more joy and play into your life, etc. Things that were much more about inward connectedness. Now that everyone is mostly working from home, I'm doing these via Zoom for companies who still want to have a way to pour into their employees while they're at home (for however long this may be). Not only that, but it's a great way to help employees see this time as a gift and instill some really amazing self-care habits to take into their new life with them when life eventually returns to a new normal. virtual networking platforms
I've been looking at online platforms too. Zoom (IMHO) offers a lot of functionality for the price. And they do have Zoom rooms that you can use as breakout rooms. The host can either have Zoom assign people randomly to rooms or the host can manually do it. And then you can pop in and out of each room as host.
